Arranging a last-minute business trip to Italy
Our Beijing office received a last-minute private jet charter request for a business trip in Europe. Having already booked commercial flights from Asia to France, our investment banking client needed help getting the five passengers from France to Italy and back during peak season. With high demand limiting availability of aircraft and flight slots, we set about finding a solution at short notice.

The team in Beijing worked with our Paris office to secure an aircraft within hours of receiving this urgent request. But with the operator facing high seasonal demand, the jet was booked by somebody else when the client took longer than expected to confirm.
With no other aircraft available for the entire route, we decided to split the itinerary into two sectors and use a different aircraft for each leg. This yielded better availability and we sourced two Cessna Citation Bravo light jets that were perfect for the short journeys, negotiating a discount to offset the additional expense of chartering more than one aircraft.
When the operator struggled to secure airport slots and parking spots in Rome, our Paris office quickly arranged to use an alternative airport with space for the charter, utilising our in-depth knowledge of European airports to recommend the most efficient solution.
